Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Samburu National Reserve

The safari commences with a scheduled flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport (WIL) to Samburu. Upon arrival, guests will be cordially received and transferred to Soroi Larsens Camp, an exclusive riverside sanctuary. Following check-in, time is allocated for relaxation and acclimatization to the natural environment of Samburu.

Days 2–3: Exploration of Samburu

Two full days are dedicated to exploring Samburu's distinctive landscape and its endemic wildlife, including the 'Samburu Special Five.'

• Twice-daily shared game drives utilizing custom-equipped 4x4 vehicles.

• Access to the dedicated photographic hide for observing wildlife at close proximity.

• Full-board dining inclusive of all meals and pre-dinner canapés served by the fireplace.

• A signature Soroi sundowner experience overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 4: Transfer to the Maasai Mara National Reserve

A southward scheduled flight transports guests to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Accommodation for three nights is provided at the elegant Soroi Luxury Migration Camp, strategically situated to maximize viewing of the savannah’s spectacles. The evening concludes with the notable “Out of Africa” sundowner.

Days 5–6: Immersion in the Iconic Maasai Mara

Guests will experience the Mara’s legendary wildlife abundance, particularly during the Great Migration season.

• Extended game drives guided by experienced field professionals.

• Full-board catering, including gourmet meals and traditional afternoon tea service with fresh pastries.

• Campfire refreshments and a selection of house beverages.

• Picnic lunches provided for prolonged game drives, especially during the migration period.

Day 7: Transfer to Lumo Community Wildlife Conservancy

A scheduled flight to Taita Hills is followed by a transfer to Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge, a property commanding panoramic vistas across the conservancy. The afternoon features a game drive, succeeded by a tranquil Pool Sundowner.

Day 8: Discovery of Lumo Community Wildlife Conservancy

This day is dedicated to experiencing Lumo, a community-owned conservancy recognized for its rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

• Full-day game drives within the conservancy.

• A complimentary 30-minute neck and back massage.

• Choice of a Night Game Drive or a Sunset Safari.

• Access to the on-site photographic hide.

Day 9: Departure

Guests will be transferred for a scheduled flight from Taita Hills back to Nairobi Wilson Airport (WIL), followed by an airport transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for onward international connections.

Inclusions

• Accommodation: Full-board lodging throughout all Soroi Collection properties.

• Fees: All national park and conservancy entrance fees.

• Activities: Twice-daily shared game drives; one sundowner at Soroi Larsens and Lions Bluff; one night game drive or Sunset Safari in Lumo; access to photographic hides in Samburu and Lumo; picnic meals during extended Maasai Mara drives; afternoon tea and campfire refreshments.

• Transfers: All scheduled flights between destinations (Wilson → Samburu → Maasai Mara → Taita Hills → Wilson) and all airstrip/airport transfers.

• Beverages: A selection of local beverages, including soft drinks, local beer, house wines, and specified spirits.

• Services: Laundry services.

Exclusions

• International air travel to and from Nairobi (JKIA).

• Pre- and post-tour arrangements in Nairobi.

• Visas or Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs).

• Premium brand alcoholic beverages and supplementary meals.
