8 - Days Itinerary Safari Adventure

Day 1 Entebbe International Airport

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, clear immigration and customs, meet Merengeti Rhino Safari representative and transfer to No 5 Boutique Hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Accommodation: No 5 Boutique Hotel — Luxury Room (BB).

Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve

Early breakfast and transfer to Entebbe Airport for scheduled flight to Kihihi (options departing 07:45 or 12:45; arrival approx 09:30 or 13:55). On arrival meet driver-guide and transfer to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge. Check in and lunch, afternoon at leisure. Accommodation: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge — Luxury Tent (LDBB).

Day 3 Bwindi Gorilla trek

After breakfast transfer to park headquarters for briefing and gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Spend one hour with habituated gorillas, return to the lodge and relax. Accommodation: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge — Luxury Tent (LDBB).

Day 4 Kyambura

After breakfast check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Proceed to the jetty and transfer by boat to The River Station. Afternoon at leisure or optional evening game drive. Accommodation: The River Station — Double Cottage (LDBB).

Day 5 Kyambura game drives and Kazinga Channel cruise

Early morning and late afternoon game drives. Shared boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon (approx 2 hours). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: The River Station — Double Cottage (LDBB).

Day 6 Kibale via Equator and Fort Portal

After breakfast depart via the Equator, Kasese and Fort Portal to Kibale Forest. Arrive for lunch at Kibale Lodge and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Accommodation: Kibale Lodge — Standard Banda (LDBB).

Day 7 Kibale Chimp trek

After breakfast transfer to park headquarters for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon at leisure. Accommodation: Kibale Lodge — Standard Banda (LDBB).

Day 8 Entebbe Departure

After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for scheduled flight to Entebbe departing 09:45 and arriving 11:25. Connect to onward international flight. End of Merengeti Rhino Safari services.

Note: Sole traveler rate includes SRS.

Add per person per trek: Gorilla permit US$800.00; Chimp permit US$250.00.

Visa requirements

• Ugandan visa
  required for many nationalities; apply and pay online at the Uganda immigration portal. Travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure.
• Single entry visa:
  US$50 (valid 3 months).
• EAC Tourist visa
  valid for Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda for 90 days: US$100.

Booking terms and payment

1. Once booking is confirmed an invoice will be issued; payment should be made immediately to secure bookings.
2. We are not liable for excursions or extra services not booked through our office.

Gorilla and chimpanzee permit

• Permits are confirmed only upon payment to Uganda Wildlife Authority on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
• Merengeti Rhino Safari is not responsible if permits are unavailable at time of payment.
• Gorilla permits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
• Park fees and permit rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation policy for safari sector excludes permits policy:

• Cancellation must be notified in writing to Merengeti Rhino Safari.
• 60 days and over:
  No charges.
• 59–36 days:
  45% cancellation charge on accommodation and related services.
• 35–16 days:
  75% cancellation charge.
• 15 days and under:
  100% cancellation charge.
• Unused portions
  of any safari or tour are non‑refundable.
• Some lodges may require non‑refundable deposits; this will be communicated at booking.
