• Day 1 — Entebbe:
  Meet on arrival; transfer to No 5 Boutique Hotel. Normal check‑in 14:00. Accommodation: Luxury Room (BB).
• Day 2 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reverse
  Early breakfast; transfer to Entebbe Airport for Aerolink 07:00 → Kihihi 08:45 (15 kg soft duffel). Transfer to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp; optional community walk. Accommodation: Luxury Tent (LDBB).
• Day 3 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reverse  — Gorilla trek:
  Transfer to Bwindi NP HQ for briefing; trek with packed lunch; return to camp; free afternoon/evening. Accommodation: Luxury Tent (LDBB).
• Day 4 — Entebbe:
  Transfer to Kihihi airstrip for 09:45 → 11:25 Entebbe; connect onward international flight. End of services.

Add per person: Gorilla permit per trek Bwindi = US$ 800. Note: If Buhoma permits unavailable, Ruhija will be used with a US$ 280 transport surcharge per trek.

Key terms, visas & cancellation

Visa requirements

• • Ugandan visa
    required for many nationalities; apply and pay online at the Uganda immigration portal. Travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure.
  • Single entry visa
    : US$50 (valid 3 months).
  • EAC Tourist visa
    (allows travel within Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda for 90 days): US$100.

Gorilla & chimpanzee permits

• Permits are confirmed only upon payment to Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
• Merengeti Rhino Safari is not responsible if permits are unavailable at time of payment.
• Gorilla permits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
• Park fees and permit rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Booking terms & payment

1. 1. Once booking is confirmed an invoice will be issued; payment should be made immediately to secure bookings.
   2. We are not liable for excursions or extra services not booked through our office.

Cancellation policy (safari sector; permits policy excluded)

• Cancellation must be notified in writing to Merengeti Rhino Safari.
• 60 days and over:
  No charges.
• 59–36 days:
  45% cancellation charge on accommodation and related services.
• 35–16 days:
  75% cancellation charge.
• 15 days and under:
  100% cancellation charge.
• Unused portions
  of any safari or tour are non‑refundable.
• Some lodges may require non‑refundable deposits; this will be communicated at booking.

Practical checklist — confirm before travel

• Pay for gorilla permits
  immediately to secure slots.
• Confirm Aerolink flights
  and baggage rules (15 kg soft duffel).
• Complete visa application
  online and ensure passport validity ≥ 6 months.
• Purchase travel insurance
  covering medical bills, evacuation, trip cancellation and baggage.
• Share dietary requirements
  with the lodge in advance.
• Carry printed/digital copies
  of permits, flight e‑tickets, insurance and passport.

Packing & health tips

• Baggage:
  soft‑sided duffel ≤ 15 kg for scheduled flights.
• Clothing:
  sturdy waterproof hiking boots; gaiters; quick‑dry layers; rain jacket; warm layer for early mornings.

  insect repellent, sunscreen, headlamp, spare batteries, basic first‑aid, personal medications.
• Fitness:
