Notes, Booking & Payment

• Marriott Kigali:
  Half board includes dinner only; check‑in 15:00; check‑out 12:00.
• Merengeti Rhino Safari excursions:
  Maximum duration three hours.
• Bishop’s House levy:
  3% included (01/07/2025–31/12/2026).
• Volcanoes NP:
  Gorilla permit USD 1,500; minimum trekking age 15; trekking departs 07:00 from Kinigi.

Cancellation Policy (Excluding Permits)

• 60 days and over:
  No charges.
• 59–36 days:
  45% cancellation charge.
• 35–16 days:
  75% cancellation charge.
• 15 days and under:
  100% cancellation charge.
• Unused portions of any safari or tour are non‑refundable. Some upmarket properties require a non‑refundable deposit.

Important Travel Notes

• Visa:
  Visa on arrival for most nationals; travel document valid ≥ 6 months. Tourist visa: USD 50 single; USD 70 multiple; East Africa Tourist Visa: USD 100.
• Health:
  Valid Yellow Fever Certificate required if arriving from endemic countries; COVID‑19 vaccination recommended.
• Luggage:
  Soft bags preferred; plastic (polythene) bags are prohibited in Rwanda.
