4 - Day Itinerary Overview Bwindi by Air (Mid-range).

Day 1 — Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Meet and transfer to The Boma Entebbe for overnight. Accommodation: The Boma Entebbe — Standard (BB).

Day 2 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve

Early breakfast and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for Aerolink flight departing 07:00, arriving Kihihi 08:45 (baggage allowance 15 kg in soft duffel bags). On arrival at Kihihi airstrip meet lodge representative and transfer to Mahogany Springs Lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation: Mahogany Springs Lodge — Superior rooms & suites (LDBB).

Day 3 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve — Gorilla trek

Breakfast and short transfer to Bwindi NP headquarters for briefing with local guides/rangers/trackers. Gorilla trek with packed lunch; return to lodge and afternoon/evening at leisure. Accommodation: Mahogany Springs Lodge — Superior rooms & suites (LDBB).

Day 4 — Entebbe / Departure

After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for Aerolink flight to Entebbe departing 09:45, arriving 11:25. Connect to onward international flight. End of Primate Expeditions services.

Price per Person in USD.  

Add per person: Gorilla permit US$800.00.

Note: Quotation is based on tracking in Buhoma. If Buhoma permits are unavailable, tracking in Ruhija will be arranged with an additional transport surcharge of US$280 per person.

• EAC Tourist visa
  (US$100) — apply online prior to arrival.
• Medical and travel insurance.
• Tips, telephone and personal expenses.
• Any item not explicitly listed under Inclusions.

Visa requirements

• Ugandan visa
  required for many nationalities; apply and pay online at the Uganda immigration portal. Travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure.
• Single entry visa
  : US$50 (valid 3 months).
• EAC Tourist visa
  (allows travel within Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda for 90 days): US$100.

Booking terms & payment

1. Once booking is confirmed an invoice will be issued; payment should be made immediately to secure bookings.
2. We are not liable for excursions or extra services not booked through our office.

Gorilla & chimpanzee permits

• Permits are confirmed only upon payment to Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
• Merengeti Rhino Safari is not responsible if permits are unavailable at time of payment.
• Gorilla permits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
• Park fees and permit rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellation policy (safari sector; permits policy excluded)

• Cancellation must be notified in writing to Merengeti Rhino Safari.
• 60 days and over:
  No charges.
• 59–36 days:
  45% cancellation charge on accommodation and related services.
• 35–16 days:
  75% cancellation charge.
• 15 days and under:
  100% cancellation charge.
• Unused portions
  of any safari or tour are non‑refundable.
• Some lodges may require non‑refundable deposits; this will be communicated at booking.
