Day 1 | Ngorongoro Crater

You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived. We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then we'll take you out to discover what this incredible country has to offer.

Your first sight of Ngorongoro Crater is likely not one you'll easily forget. As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa's most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles) from one side to the other. Down in the crater itself, you'll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that is protected by high crater walls.

Day 2 | Ngorongoro Highlands

There's so much to look forward to when you visit the Ngorongoro Highlands. It's a world of cool-climate forests and views of craters and cliffs that come into focus through the trees. Watch also for the wildlife that lives in the forest, such as elephants and buffaloes, and leopards if you're very lucky.

Leave the crowds behind and join us for a guided game drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands. It's a chance to see and learn what this remarkable landscape has to offer.

Day 3 | Serengeti National Park

You'll never forget the time you spend in the Serengeti. Perhaps it will be the sightings of leopard and cheetah as they show their skills as feared hunters of the plains and valleys. Or that unforgettable moment when an elephant family feeds alongside your vehicle, so close you could almost reach out and touch them.

Wake up to big Serengeti horizons when you stay at Kenzan Central Tented Camp. The camp is right in the heart of the Serengeti, in the popular Seronera area which is famous for its wildlife. Savannah grasslands surround the safari tents and wildlife often wanders into camp.

Day 4 | Serengeti National Park

There's always more to discover in the Serengeti, and you'll get more chances to do so on your return to the park. You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals when we take you on a guided game drive.

Or the first time you hear a lion roar. Then there are the herds of buffalo, zebra or wildebeest so large that they move as one across your horizon, like a river. All of these experiences are possible in the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa.

Day 5 | Serengeti National Park - Departure
